The weather on 6 July was fine with occasional showers, and so the airshow could go ahead as planned with less change. But the pity was that the Round-canopy parachute drops had to be cancelled in last-minute due to sudden strong wind and heavy showers, even though the parachutists were already airborne. The flying displays were led by the Flying Comrades, Stampe, Tiger 9, Spitfires with Hurricanes, and Strikemasters. The highlight of the airshow was undoubtedly the one by Boeing B17 Flying Fortress (Sally B) accompanied by two C47s. The tailchase by Spitfires and Buchón and the formation flight by 6 Spitfires and Hurricanes were also spectacular. Not to mention the formation flight led by the two C47s with Spitfires, Harvard T-6G and Navy Wings. A big thank you to the airshow organiser for letting those Friday attendees, including me, to come back again to enjoy the fantastic show on 6 July.
