At the 2024 Venice Art Biennale, the United States is well-represented, with exhibitions by three esteemed artists displayed in different venues.

Alex Katz, at 96, unveils a dynamic new show titled "Claire, Grass and Water." This collection showcases his signature vibrant figures inspired by fashion designer Claire McCardell, alongside a surprising exploration of large-scale landscapes.

A landmark exhibition by the Accademia delves into the artistic response of Abstract Expressionist pioneer Willem de Kooning to Italy. This expansive presentation, featuring 75 works, marks the largest de Kooning showcase ever held in the country.



Meanwhile, Jim Dine's "Dog on the Forge," exhibits 32 recently created, large-scale works specifically for the Biennale, together with unseen paintings and sculptures from his career.
