How to Manually Backtest Your Strategy

The only way to learn how to make money trading is to “practice” the heck out of your strategies or system by backtesting! The first step to becoming a successful trader is to backtest your strategy or system BEFORE YOU USE REAL MONEY. You want to find out how your strategy/system behaves in all different types of market conditions.

This is how you should spend most of your available computer time! But, you have to do this....the right way!

Manual backtesting can be time-consuming, but it’s the BEST WAY to feel how your trading strategy would work in various market conditions. It’s the BEST WAY to get your “hands dirty” and make you feel like you’re accomplishing something, make you feel more productive than anything else you can do while learning how to trade forex.
