An 8000 Hz notched version of my Ocean Wave Soundscape for tinnitus sound therapy.

The filter removes the frequency band around 8000 Hz. You will hear all frequencies except the one matching your tinnitus (if it’s around 8000 Hz). With repeated listening over time, this can help the brain reduce the false priority it has given to the tinnitus signal, thanks to lateral inhibition and neural reorganization.

First, determine the frequency of your tinnitus using this test:    • Tinnitus Frequency finder - Pink noise   This is notched tinnitus sound therapy — it is NOT designed to mask your tinnitus, but to retrain the brain over time.

Turn the volume down until the sound is pleasant and comfortable (it should not be loud).

Ideal for long listening sessions (preferably several hours a day) with headphones, during relaxation, study, or while falling asleep. (If your tinnitus is exactly at 8000 Hz or very close, this version may be especially suitable — otherwise choose the notched version that matches your precise frequency.)
