An additional highlight is the newly developed 2.0 TDI Evo - a highly efficient turbo diesel engine with an output of 110 kW / 150 PS that produces 10 g/km less CO2 compared with the equivalent engine in the predecessor. The 2.0 TDI Evo is the forerunner of a new generation of diesel engines. The powerplant range also includes three petrol engines (TSI) with 110 kW / 150 PS, 140 kW / 190 PS, and 200 kW / 272 PS as well as three diesel engines (TDI); the latter deliver 88 kW / 120 PS, 140 kW / 190 PS, and 176 kW / 240 PS respectively. All TSI and TDI units fulfil the requirements of the Euro 6d-TEMP emission standard. In addition, every new #Passat - whether a petrol or diesel engine - is equipped with a particulate filter.

A new addition to the range, the #Optima is also available with Kia's 180ps 1.6-litre T-GDi engine for the first time. The lightweight turbocharged engine offers buyers a new gasoline powertrain option between the naturally-aspirated 163ps 2.0-litre CVVL (Continuously-Variable Valve Lift) engine and the 245ps 2.0-litre T-GDi which powers the high-performance Optima GT. The new 180ps 1.6-litre T-GDi is paired with #Kia's smooth-shifting seven-speed double-clutch transmission, which lets drivers change gear using steering wheel-mounted shift paddles.

The all-new #Opel #Insignia Sports Tourer is in extremely good shape. It follows the sporty example set by a large coupé, is uncompromisingly spacious and offers exemplary safety just like a true flagship should. The second generation Insignia impresses with its breathtaking lines, a trunk volume that has been increased to 1,640 liters - over 100 liters more than the outgoing model - and high-tech solutions ranging from the trendsetting Opel IntelliLux LED® matrix headlights and ultra-modern driver assistance systems to the cool head-up display. In addition, the Insignia comes with Opel-typical first-class connectivity with smartphone integration which now offers a new Opel OnStar feature - the Personal Assistant which allows Insignia occupants to book hotel rooms and search for parking via an OnStar Advisor.

Buckets of adoration and positive reviews attest to what Mazda has achieved with its flagship, which is in no small part praise for its SKYACTIV powertrains. Now the 2017 Mazda 6 gets some brand new technology for a more cultivated experience to go with what is already a pleasure behind the wheel.

The #Mazda 6 comes with a choice of two SKYACTIV-D 2.2-litre diesels (150PS & 175PS) and three petrol engines: the SKYACTIV-G 2.0 with 145PS or 165PS, and the 192PS SKYACTIV-G 2.5. Featuring extreme compression ratios of 14:1 for all but one - much lower than the competition's diesels and exceptionally high for petrol engines - they not only get the job done and do it efficiently, but they also engage the driver while they're at it thanks to lightweight innovation and efficient packaging.
