Once upon the time my soul sister Kay Aileen asked me if I would like to make a music video for her debut song “Come Back to Mother Nature”. It was her personal art project which took great love and effort to build. The song spoke to me, evoking deep feelings and awareness that blossomed into a fountain of creativity and pure joy of creation. It reminded me why I loved filmmaking and what’s most important to me as an artist. It was the perfect blend of themes, creative possibilities and people involved. Everyone I asked to participate was open and interested. We ended up having 20 people joining the crew in one way or the other. It is incredible how engaged, enthusiastic and supportive everyone was. None of this would be possible without the collaborative effort of amazing souls and we are blessed for the shared memories we’ve made.

Mother Nature gifted us with perfect conditions every time we went shooting, which is impressive considering our various needs. Many synchronicities happened. It was as if she knew our intentions and wanted us to succeed. She felt present, aware, interactive… with her dance of powers and endless beauty she was open in all her glory.

This piece is a tribute to Mother Nature and the divine feminine. It is a love letter to life and our planet, a contemplation about something greater than ourselves. About reality, duality, harmony and perfection of the natural order. It was made with love and I hope it speaks to your heart as it did with ours.
