Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:GOLD)(TSX:ABX) has significantly increased its gold and copper reserves, setting itself apart from its peers and positioning for long-term growth. The company grew attributable gold mineral reserves by 23% before 2024 depletion, now standing at 89 million ounces, thanks to key additions like the Reko Diq copper-gold project. This marks the fourth consecutive year of replacing annual depletion while improving grade quality.

On the copper front, Barrick achieved a 224% year-over-year increase in attributable copper reserves, now totaling 18 million tonnes at a higher grade. The Lumwana Super Pit Expansion and Reko Diq feasibility studies played a crucial role in this milestone, reaffirming both as Tier One Copper projects.

Since 2019, Barrick has successfully replaced more than 180% of its depleted gold reserves, adding nearly 46 million ounces of proven and probable reserves across its managed assets. The company continues to prioritize organic growth through exploration, ensuring long-term value creation while investing in transformational projects such as Lumwana, Pueblo Viejo, Reko Diq, and Fourmile.

Barrick's disciplined approach to reserve pricing, with gold at $1,400/oz and copper at $3.00/lb, ensures optimal value extraction while maintaining asset quality.
