Chris Koutsogiannis became the Voodoo Drummer after his participating in a funeral in Benin, West Africa, and his appearances in New Orleans. He toured with the British cult trio theTiger Lillies, among others, before forming this odd act in Athens with Stavros Parginos.

Adding the “Weirdofon,” a one octave - out of tune – Metal Balafon (the African metallophone), plus sounds, noises, chants, bells, as well as voice, saw, violin, guitar and balafon from the guest musicians, doesn’t change the final primitive, minimal and unusual sound.
