Ram Laddoo - Famous Delhi Street Food
This has been a childhood favourite, every visit to Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar market would mean having garam-garam Ram Laddoo in the market. These crisp, golden brown moong dal laddoos, topped with a spicy green chutney, grated radish and chaat masala are delicious!

Ingredients:
Chana Dal | चना दाल - 1/2 Cup
Moong Dal | मूंग दाल - 1/2 Cup
Urad Dal | उरद दाल - 3 tbsp
Ginger | अदरक 1 inch (chopped)
Green chillies | हरी मिर्ची 2-3 nos
Dry Red Chillies | सूखी लाल मिर्चें - 2-3 nos
Salt | नमक to taste
Green Chutney | हरी चटनी - 2-3 tsp
Grated Radish | मूली - 1/2 cup
Chaat Masala | चाट मसाला
Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Take the three dals (moong dal, channa dal, urad dal) and soak for 4-5 hours, once soaked drain well
2. Grind the soaked dal with ginger, green and red chillies with very little water into a smooth paste
3. Once ground, transfer in a bowl, whip well till light and fluffy, add salt last before frying
4. Heat oil to medium-high heat, drop small dumplings into the oil and fry on medium heat until it turns crisp & golden brown in colour.
5. Once fried remove and serve hot & crispy with spicy special green chutney, grated radish and chaat masala
