On January 22nd 2026, Bungie issued a community challenge titled The Dark Age Hunt, an event that required completing Warlord's Ruin solo with only glaive's, bows and swords. Starting on the 27th, I began my journey on completing this challenge on my hunter. After a few attempts I was determined to complete this flawlessly, completely resetting if I ended up dying. This video is the result of all the effort I put into completing this challenge.

For the First Encounter I used a simple glaive and bow set up for ad clear as well as Wolfsbane as my main source of damage with a Tether while on Prismatic.

For the Second Encounter I used my bow mainly for ad clear, and then both Ergo Sum and my heavy combat bow for damage rotations. I would use Moebius Quiver while on the Void subclass to amplify the damage on my bows, throw out a projectile using Ergo Sum, then swap between my primary and heavy bow to consistently reload my heavy bow and do massive damage.

Finally, for the Final Encounter I used the same loadout as my second encounter loadout but with a switch up of being on my arc subclass for damage resist and more ad clear.
