The Third Ring Road in Chengdu, located in Sichuan Province, China, is a circular expressway. Construction began on October 1, 1998, and it was officially opened on October 28, 2002, with a total investment of 6.6 billion yuan. The Third Ring Road runs parallel to several other ring roads, including the First Ring Road, Second Ring Road, and the G4202 Chengdu Ring Expressway. It also connects to numerous radial roads, forming a rapid urban transportation network.

Initially, the speed limit on the Third Ring Road was 80 kilometers per hour (approximately 50 miles per hour). However, it has undergone several upgrades to improve speed. Currently, the four main lanes of the Third Ring Road have varying speed limits: the inner three lanes are restricted to 100 kilometers per hour (approximately 62 miles per hour), while the outer lane is limited to 80 kilometers per hour. The auxiliary lanes have a speed limit of 60 kilometers per hour (approximately 37 miles per hour)
