Wolves in Mythology & Folklore

Описание к видео Wolves in Mythology & Folklore

Wolves are among the most successful predators on earth, known for their hunting prowess, incredible adaptability, and the loyalty that hold for one another within their packs. Mankind has admired and feared the wolf since the stone age. Humanity's perception of the wolf is reflected in countless stories from Europe, Asia, and North America. Some are very positive, shown as gods or companions to gods, guardians, and even raising orphaned children as their own. Others, however, paint the wolf as a monstrous and villainous figure, such as the Norse beast Fenrir, the Big Bad Wolf of European fairy tales, and even the werewolf!
