Kerala has witnessed several land struggles by Adivasis & Dalits in the past 2 decades. The demand for a larger land struggle has come to the fore with the announcement of "Chalo Thiruvananthapuram" with padayatras throughout Kerala, undoubtedly inspired by the historic Chalo Una movement in Gujarat.

In this video series, prominent Dalit & Adivasi activists of various land struggles talk about the land issue and the need for a bigger,united land struggle during the Chalo Thiruvananthapuram struggle declaration at Chengara agitation land on January 29, 2017.

Various Ambedkarite organizations, existing land struggle movements, various progressive forces including transgender activists, environmental activists, and Left groups are coming together for this historic land struggle.
