Stella Kasdagli
At this moment, there is a huge change around the world in the way with which we deal with gender equality. But here in Greece we haven’t understand anything. Stella Kasdagli describe us how, with the power of collectivity, this change can also “cross the borders of our country”.

*Theme: “EREISMA” *
Ereisma is a word that has its origins in ancient times, though is still used today, both literally and metaphorically. Ereisma means something that is mounted or made in a given position to provide support. It also means everything that serves as the basis, the starting point and the foundation of an action, thought or state. For us in TEDxAUTH, Ereisma is the foundations we are laying for a new framework at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which we wish to see become stronger with each passing year.
*Session: “ETHOS”
This session’s core is the characteristic spirit of a culture, ideology or community, as manifested in a man’s/woman’s attitudes and aspirations, his/her point of view towards his/her life and ambitions. The speeches of Session Ethos aim to highlight the credibility and the ethos of the issues that speakers will present.
*TEDxAUTH
The TEDxAUTH 2018 team, founded in November 2017, the purpose of which is to implement the first TEDx event in the history of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The team consists of 21 creative people who have decided to contribute with “ideas worth spreading” at the Aristotle University, and the city of Thessaloniki. The first TEDxAUTH event took place in May 2018 in the Ceremony Hall of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
