IS KAMPONG GLAM JUST ANOTHER TOURIST TRAP?! // SINGAPORE'S COLOURFUL MIDDLE EASTERN QUARTER

We've wandered around little sections of the Kampong Glam area but never delved any deeper. We found ourselves here as we had some errands to run so we took time to explore the Heritage Trail around the area and learn a little more about its history and what is here now.

We were surprised to find a whole treasure of arts areas, Turkish food, trendy cafe's and bars and coach fulls of tourists around. What was so special that they were coming here by the bus load?
