HISTORY AND MILESTONE
Madurai, one of the oldest cities in India, located on the banks of the Vaigai River, is often referred to as “Athens of the East” due to the rich and cultural heritage and deep rooted traditions. Madurai is famous for the iconic Meenakshi Amman Temple and Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, which remain a key attraction for the grandeur and historical importance. The city was a major centre of Tamil culture, Literature and Learning. Located in this setting, at K.K Nagar, Madurai, our school blends traditionally serene and disciplined environment for students. The School Architecture and curriculum reflect both the spiritual heritage of the convent tradition and the dynamic, evolving spirit of Madurai. It is our immoderate delight that we are the inheritors of the FIHM Congregation founded by the Servant of God, Louis Savinien Dupuis, who imprinted the charism, “Sanctification of Sisters for the Sanctification of Women” and that Arul Malar wields the royal legacy in propagating this ideal.
