Nisuni is the Garifuna word which translates to “My Purpose” in English.


This song is dedicated to everyone who has been counted out, but have risen and became more than what was expected of you. This is for everyone who is currently going through trails and facing judgments from others - Your purpose is bigger than man could imagine.

We may at times struggle to proclaim who we are; sometimes the struggle is not in proclaiming, but in identifying our authentic self.

Through this project, I’ve learned more about myself and my purpose as a Garifuna Musician, that I am now ready to proclaim through my music.

Sometimes your purpose may seem like an illusion, but as long as you find peace within yourself, your purpose becomes clearer and you’ll be able to give of yourself for the sake of others.

Making this album has been a major highlight in my life...I profoundly hope that you enjoy listening to it as we did making it.
