The Guntakal-Wadi and Guntakal-Ballari doubling and quadrupling of the railway lines are being prepared. The Railway Department has decided to construct these lines to allow for faster train movement on the Mumbai-Chennai railway line, which experiences high passenger and freight traffic. Currently, these are double lines, and the construction of two additional lines simultaneously is being planned. Estimates for these projects are being prepared by railway engineers. In a five-year plan, the central government has taken a key decision to convert some major railway lines, including the Wadi-Ballari line in the railway division, into four lines. Following the Prime Minister's directives, under the network group, various lines connecting Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu are being converted into four lines to enhance connectivity and logistical capacity. Details regarding this are being provided through this video.
