JAMA Corporation Private Limited (JCPL, formerly known as MKJ Footwear Private Limited) was established in 1966 as a contract manufacturer for Acme Boot Company in USA. In 1994, JAMA established its own brand name in the USA, 'OLD WEST'. Old West is now a brand name well recognised in the western boot market world over.

JAMA is a 100% Export Oriented Unit on its own merit and has three well-equipped state-of-the-art manufacturing units employing approximately 1000 persons with Branch Offices in United States of America, Canada and Germany.

Keeping in view the increasing demand of safety shoes world over, JAMA has set up a plant for manufacturing Single Density & Double-Density PU Moulded Safety Footwear. JAMA has a wide variety of safety footwear, ranging from categories SB to $3. The company uses only the finest quality raw material for the production of its safety footwear enhancing product life. The safety shoes offer features such as Oil & Fuel Resistance, Slip Resistance, 200 Joules Toe Protection, Anti-Puncture & Electrical resistance to name a few making it suitable for a wide-variety of work environments such as construction, mining, oil refining and many more. JAMA's safety shoes not only provide excellent protection to the wearer's feet but also offer a unique combination of comfort and style, making them practical for every-day use.

JAMA has a fully equipped Safety Shoe Testing Laboratory. All safety shoes manufactured by JAMA are in compliance with EN ISO 20345:2011 & IS 15298: 2016 Part-2 standards.

JAMA has its own state-of-the-art Beamhouse and Leather Finishing Unit ensuring consistent and top quality leather for its shoes. All leathers manufactured are REACH compliant. The company has a fully equipped in-house testing lab to carry out the necessary physical and chemical tests on wetblue and finished leather.

Both the tanneries are equipped with a Zero Liquid Discharge' (ZLD) Effluent Treatment Plant and Reverse-Osmosis (RO). In order to conserve water, the tanneries recycle about 70-80% of water, hence reducing water consumption.

JAMA has obtained BIS Certification for its Single Density PU, Double Density PU & Rubber/PU Safety Shoes for Design Classifications A, B & C. CM/L Number: 9300084113.

JAMA also has been successfully audited against LWG (Leather Working Group) Standards and is an ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018 (OH&S) & SA 8000:2014 certified company.
