Demola Akinrele at Tibreakers Career Conference 2014

Demola Akinrele is a Partner in the Law Firm of F. O. Akinrele & Co, heading the firm’s commercial litigation and arbitration department.

He was educated at the University College London (LLB, honours), and the University of Cambridge, (LL.M.) He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and was conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in at the age of 38, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2000. He is a member of the Nigerian and International Bar Associations.

F.O. Akinrele & Co.’s ( established in 1959), embraces all aspects of corporate and commercial law, both in the Courts and in arbitration tribunals.

Demola is an acknowledged leader in the field of commercial litigation, having successfully represented multinational organisations in a variety of cases such as: MTN, British Gas, Cadbury Schweppes, ExxonMobil, Nexen INC, Conoco Phillips, Tidewater INC, Danos and Curole Marine Contractors INC, Celtel Nigeria BV now Zain, Virgin Atlantic Limited, Ingosstrakhe, Technip and the North of England P & I Club.
