So..... I saw that we had an Arctic Blast coming through Minnesota and that it was calling for extreme cold in the Ely, MN area. Projected -34ºF. I though "I gotta go get me some of that"
Put out the call to fellow hammocker and cold enthusiast Strung Out. He said "Yeah, lets do it" and off we went.
Pulled our pulk sleds out to the woods and got 'em strung up.
We surpassed the -34ºF mark as my indoor/outdoor thermometer punked out at it's limit of -40ºF.
