Here are the Tata Tiago EV compact sedan's details, expected price & launch date.

The Tiago EV was showcased at the Auto Expo 2018.

The most significant difference between the Tiago EV and a regular Tiago is the powertrain. The Tiago EV draw power from an electric drive system developed and supplied by Electrica EV. The Tata Tiago EV draws power from a three-phase AC induction motor which produces close to 40bhp. However, Tata Motors has not revealed the driving range and the charging time.

The Tiago EV will be manufactured at Tata's Sanand plant. Tata Motors has bagged an order to supply electric vehicles to EESL, and the first set of 350 EVs have been delivered. Tata is expected to launch the Tiago EV later this year and is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 10 lakh and more.
