Maio, a Bandung-based hardcore punk band founded in 2019, is known for its fierce sound influenced by 1980s punk and the "motorcharged" genre. Their music features heavy guitar riffs, forceful drumming, and vocals with a distinct echo. After their debut single "The Justice Trap," they released "Circle Jerks," which addresses issues of social gossip. The band members include vocalist Aziz Rustanto, guitarists Martin Valard and Diki "Abuy" Rohman, bassist Achmad "Kikim" Nurhakim, and drummer Aldi "Wisong" Wali.
