Vlogs were recorded preceding the annual 2025 Design Build Fly competition to document our design process, testing endeavors, and social activities.
We are an interdisciplinary team of over 50 hardworking, dedicated students. In addition to sparking interest in aviation and the aerospace industry, we represent UCLA in the AIAA Design Build Fly competition against 100+ other collegiate institutions around the world. In the past competition year, we scored 10th out of 112 competing teams. We also placed 2nd place in Design Report, and our work is now published on the AIAA website as the top three submissions
Our program gives UCLA students an opportunity to learn hands-on technical and design skills as well as soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, and time management. Our education-oriented program sets our members up for success in future industry and research positions.
