Shloka from Sundarakandam to chant daily | Hanuman on seeing Lanka & Ravan | Sri Vittaldas Maharaj

Two shlokas from Sundarakandam are highlighted. This Shloka narrates the scene whre lord Hanuman entered Sri Lanka and got surprised by the prosperity and richness of Sri Lanka. Hanuman attributed this to Ravana's bhakthi towards Lord Shiva.

Saints like Sri Adi Sankara told the world that one can attain unmeasurable prosperity by the grace of Lord Shiva. This holds true even today. Its a belief that chanting this shloka, 12 times a day, will make your bhakthi strong towards Shiva and fulfil your prosperity desires.

याहि वैश्रवणे लक्ष्मीः या चेन्द्रे हरिवाहने !
सा रावण गृहे सर्वा नित्यमेव अनपायिनी !!
या च राज्ञः कुबेरस्य यमस्य वरुणस्य वा !
तादृशी तद्विशिष्टा वा ऋद्धी रक्षोगृहेष्विह !!
