Go behind the scenes of the 2025 Chicago Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Millennium Park. Powering Chicago member contractor McWilliams Electric Company and their IBEW Local 134 electricians installed and connected the electrical system that brought the 68-foot Norway spruce to life on November 21.

The tree features 185 lit spheres, 1,200 light strings, over 119,000 LED lights, and nearly eight miles of lighting—all powered safely and reliably by skilled union electricians who followed Chicago and Cook County electrical and safety codes.
