During the lockdown in India, social media has proven to be a vital form
of communication and information sharing from the very start. Twitter
is one of the best online platforms to know about people’s reactions to
this challenging situation. We have used the pandemic data to find how
people react during a crisis. Firstly, we selected a small number of people
based on their follower count and recent tweet interactions. Then, we
collected tweets of this set of people and scraped their Twitter activity.
Afterward, we tokenized their tweets to analyze their responses based on
their emotions to understand their impact. Finally, we have constructed
some relations between the followers and the type of tweets and their users
using plots.
