The Stasi Museum in Berlin, Germany.

I'll be honest and say not as interesting, chilling or downright creepy as Gedenkstätte Berlin-Hohenschönhausen, the Stasi Museum is loacted in the offices of the former leaders of the Stasi (such as Erich Mielke).

Like the prison at Hohenschönhausen, the site was a mini-protected zone with East Berlin and is still the home of many of the (still viewable) records kept on the people of West Berlin during the 'reign' of the Stasi.

The highlights for me were the pieces of spying gear on display, the overall 1970's feel to the whole place but ultimately the fact that this is precisely where the leadership of the Stasi/East German regime ruled over the people.
