‘This film explains what to expect from a cardiac CT scan. It was recorded at Great Western Hospital, Swindon, but is relevant for any patient about to have a cardiac CT scan.

2. Staying relaxed and being connected to the ECG monitor
3. Having GTN spray
4. Controlling your breathing
5. The Scan procedure
6. Having a contrast injection
7. The length of time that the scan takes
8. Coming out of the scanner and going home
