This correction supports two key valves in your digestive system—the Ileocecal Valve (ICV), which connects the small intestine to the large intestine, and the Valve of Houston, located in the rectum. When either valve is stuck open, it can lead to diarrhea.

To correct this, go about 1 to 1.5 inches in from your hip bone on the front of your body. Press in, pull up gently toward your navel and hold for around 6 seconds. Then give a small tug and release. Repeat on the other side.

Please note, that I’m left-handed and have mild cerebral palsy in my right hand, so use your dominant hand—if you’re working both sides at once, it might look a little different than mine. That's perfectly okay!
