Описание к видео Trains at Bank & Monument - London Underground and DLR (28/07/2022)

Ah yes, here is probably one of the iconic parts of the Underground, BANK! Known to be one of the busiest stations across the network, with plenty of variety from Deep-Level to Light Rail, all the way to Sub-Surface! So enjoy, Just four more words, MIND THE GAP PLEASE :D!

(The number of times you'll hear that phrase being 'chanted' compared to any other station is just insane!!)

Bank has always been known for being one of the most important financial districts, in which where 'The Bank of England' is situated, alongside the Royal Stock Exchange. Also, directly located onto one of the station exits includes, The City of London Magistrates Court, known to be one of London's legal institutions. So yes, there is a lot going on around here, which explains why Bank/Monument station can get crazy busy, especially during peak hours.

As many probably know, Bank station is getting a major refurbishment upgrade. This includes the recent newly designed Northern line platform, which this film showcases. Other future productions works includes installation of new escalators, and a new station entrance, providing connections towards Cannon Street.

Some of the other unique features includes curved tracks on majority of the services, particularly the Central & Sub-Surface lines, which explains the huge gap. Although, I can't deny the trains here are filled with style, as they enter the station, with a blend of classical 'Meat Cutting' sounds as well as the trains tilting slightly; due to the curved edges. This awesome look can be further noticed on the S Stock. The fact that the trains on the LU can slightly tilt was a surprising one for me, as it was something I had never noticed until now! :D
