Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Dexter ecode disk brake assembly. It's a 10 inch rotor with the alder hub for 3,500 easy move axles. Now, this trailer brake assembly makes it very easy to upgrade from drum brakes to disc brakes for better performance. Disc brakes will give you more consistent stopping, even at highway speeds and dramatically shorter stopping distances. They're easier and less expensive to maintain.Now, this kit will include everything shown here on the table. It's one full brake assembly.

You get the one ecoded rotor, the ecoded hub with the bolts already pressed in, the ecoded ductile iron caliper, with the mounting bolts included, the two semi metallic brake pads. I lift up the cap, you can see the brake pads already installed in there. One ecoded caliper mounting bracket, with the bolts or the nuts to install it, and it comes with the bearings, the races which are installed in the hub, the grease seal, and the easy lube grease cap.Now, all these parts have a nice ecode finish on them, which provide corrosion resistance for fresh water and limited salt water use. The rotor is a vented rotor, dissipates the heat better, helps to regulate temperature to prevent overheating. The hub that's included will replace your existing hub.

The caliper right over here is a self adjusting caliper, which will insure maximum surface contact for nice, smooth, equal braking, and the pads we talked about are semi metallic brake pads, already installed in here. They'll help resist heat, provide excellent grip.We mentioned the easy lube grease cap. The grease cap is nice because it has the center and rubber plug that you can pop right out and that will give you access to the grease circ fitting on the easy lube axle to lubricate it. A mounting bracket is also a ductile iron construction, provide strength and durability. Now, to install this, that will require a hydrotic brake actuator and brake lines, which are required for the brakes to be activated.

We do sell those separately on our website. Those parts will require a PSI rating of at least 1600 PSI. These parts are made in the USA. Specs on this again, the axle it fits on is a 3500 pound easy lube axle. It uses a wheel size of 14 inches to 15 inches.This assembly can be used either left hand driver side or right hand passenger side.

Bolt pattern on the but is five on four and a half inches. Those are usually half in by 20 lug nut size. The rotor diameter is 10 inches. On the mounting brake flange here, it has a configuration of four bolt brake flange configuration.
