In this teaching video, we continue our verse-by-verse study in Second Timothy, WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF? In a new year filled with uncertainty and distraction, the Holy Spirit calls us to advance, not in our own strength, but through the grace God supplies us in Jesus. The Apostle Paul challenges Timothy and us to grow into fully devoted followers of Jesus by embracing three powerful examples: the soldier, the athlete, and the farmer. Each one models a life of endurance, discipline, focus, and trust in God’s promised rewards. Paul reminds us that we don't generate courage. It flows from a continual dependence upon the Holy Spirit and a willingness to pass the Gospel on to others. We’ll discover what it means to live with undivided allegiance like a soldier, to run with integrity like an athlete, and to labor patiently like a farmer, confident that faithfulness leads to an abundant harvest. Jesus calls us to commitment without fear and to faithful perseverance. We begin 2026 by learning how to endure hardship, multiply the Gospel, and advance boldly for Jesus.
