These tips were made for Chapter Permadeath for Shannon Woodward (voice actress for Dina in TLOU2). These strats are based on being involved with the Grounded Whole Game Permadeath community.

If you are running your own permadeath runs then these tips may serve as a starting guide. No matter what, you should practice any strat thoroughly and even try out new things. These strats were performed on Grounded though the target difficulty was for Shannon playing on Hard.

Since Shannon would be not be able to practice strats exhaustively due to her busy schedule, I tried to compile tips that best fit within the following constraints:
1) Must be easy to perform
2) Must be easy to memorize
3) If things go wrong, must be left in an easy situation to survive

Meeting all these constraints is highly subjective and sometimes impossible, but that's the effective goal of strats presented. In some cases grounded permadeath speedrun strats are the easiest, whereas others are slower involving stealth takedowns. Lastly, these strats are geared for early encounters in a chapter being faster and therefore riskier, while later strats in a chapter are intended to be safer but may be more challenging to memorize.
