Check out our Spiny Stick insects! - TwistED Science

The look like little aliens or monsters! But they're spiny stick insects. With great camoflauge to stop the birds eating them, these little guys have a lot of different super powers.

Firstly, they look like leaves and sticks! That's pretty awesome :)

Their second super power is that they can lay eggs that hatch clones of themselves if there is no viable male around. Can you imagine if humans could do that?

Thirdly they have very sticky feet and are great at hanging upside down. Their feet are so sticky that sometimes I have trouble getting them off their trees!
