Fintuple Technologies (www.fintuple.com) - At Fintuple, we are building the infrastructure layer for the asset management industry in India. The opportunity for Fintuple in the industry has arisen as a combination of two factors:

a) High cost of distribution of funds in India
b) Siloed Information access to the end investors which has led to a poor experience for many of the investors in the alternate industry.

The platform we have built has been done by signing contracts with 15 of the largest institutions in India, by first addressing the data layer of the fund management industry. On our platform, the users ( investors and wealth managers, alongside the fund managers too) get custom insights , analytics , personalized research and ratings on the funds of interest, using our custom algorithm. We aim to democratise this research to ensure simplicity in access and investing for the end users.

(We are working on the second product , which will look to brand distributors, IFAs and wealth managers in the country for the first time, which will plug and play into the IQ product. Am not addressing this for now).

Its for the first time in India, that a platform which is focussed on solving the democratization of fund management (in the alternatives industry) is being built. Our goal is to eventually scale this into a tech driven, low-fee fund of fund model for the country, a vision which has not been achieved thus far ( but has existed for a while in the US).
