Massive Darkness 2 || Hellscape Core Box || Mob || Undead

This is Minion the Undead Mob from the board game Massive Darkness 2, Hellscape Core Box.

This mob uses different weapon, shield, and (subtle) skirt colors to differentiate the members. The leader differs enough that just highlighting the spilled guts elevated it. Like all the models I paint with pustules, I put pink rings around them and topped them off with the Citadel Technical Paint: Nurgle's Rot. The result looks shiny and raw, making it feel like they could burst at any time.

All the miniatures in this series were painted using color themes developed to bring cohesion to the Mobs, while making every Mob figure unique. Character Minis, Roaming Monsters, and Bosses are aligned with their card art. All enemy figures have glowing green eyes to indicate they are being controlled by the Darkness. Whenever a gem appears on the mini, it is painted green as the source of control.
