On Monday, Feb. 16, The Labor Forum, 4-5pm, on WRFG 89.3FM spoke with Ai-Jen Poo, director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, labor and immigrant rights activist.

In 2000, she was instrumental in the successful campaign to win a Domestic Workers Bill of Rights in NY state that raised the living standards of thousands of nannies, housekeepers and home healthcare workers.

In 2014, she was named a McArthur Foundation Fellow, just one of the many national and international awards recognizing her ground-breaking work in bringing economic and social justice to marginalized workers.

In the second half hour of The Labor Forum, Ai-Jen Poo will be discussing her recent book, The Age of Dignity" which focuses on the growing aging population and the need for compassionate and skilled care-givers.
