How-to set your conversation routing rules in HubSpot.

In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how-to set your conversation routing rules in HubSpot.

By default, in hubspot, incoming conversations are left unassigned in your inbox for your team to trigger. If you're assigned to a Sales Hub or Service Hub paid seat, you can set routing rules so that incoming conversations are automatically routed to specific users and teams in your account.

Steps to Follow:

Step 1. To manually trigger unassigned conversations.

Step 2. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Conversations and click Inbox.

Step 3. In the left sidebar menu, select the Unassigned view, then click an unassigned conversation to open it.

Step 4. In the upper left, click the owner dropdown menu and select your name.

Step 5.If you want to reassign a conversation to another user, open a conversation that is assigned to you. In the top left, click the owner dropdown menu and select another user.

Step 6. To automatically Set up automatic routing rules.

Step 7. Navigate to your routing settings for the specific channel.

Step 8. You can set automatic routing rules for your chatflows, team emails and your connected forms.

Step 9. Here we are setting routing rules for our chatflows

Step 10. Navigate to your Chatflow, hover over to your existing chatflow and click edit.

Step 11. Click to toggle the Automatically assign conversations switch on.
Click the Assign To dropdown menu and select a routing option.

Step 12. You can select a specific team or a contact owner. Once done, click save.
