pro clima SOLITEX MENTO® Roof Weather Resistive Barrier

pro clima SOLITEX MENTO® is a 3 layer Weather Resistive Barrier (WRB) for installing under roof cladding. The three layers comprise of:
1. Polyester fleece layer on the top for UV stability
2. Thermoplastic non-porous monolithic membrane
3. Thinner polyester fleece layer below for absorbency

Unlike most building membranes, SOLITEX MENTO® is not microporous. Instead, it has a monolithic active layer. The monolithic layer will not 'tent' liquid moisture through the membrane, even if it comes into contact with surfactants like timber treatment, yet the membrane will still actively transport moisture vapour in order to help dry out the building.

Specifications and features include:
Water column pressure resistance of 10 m
Vapour permeability of 0.25 mNs/g
Active vapour transmission
Highly thermostable melt point of 200 deg C; operating temperature 100 deg C

SOLITEX MENTO® also comes in a CONNECT version with self-adhesive strips placed within the overlap area.

Two roll sizes 1.5m or 3m

SOLITEX MENTO® 3000 offers 90 days UV exposure and SOLITEX MENTO® 1000 offers 30 days UV exposure.
