UPDATE 6/16/12: I was at the mall since the renovation. This elevator is still Westinghouse, however, it was broken, so I could not ride it. The decorative scheme has changed with the elevator. The shaft is now a brownish color, with a fogged glass on the 1st level. From what I could see, inside the elevator itself, there is new tile, and lighting panels, along with the same brownish paint.
As much as I usually hate going here (it's ugly and seems dumpy because everything was snow white), that feeling may go away because this mall is being renovated! As you can tell, some of the original mall tile has been uncovered, but will be covered soon. Personally, I like it this way.
As you can see in the flashback, some of the decorative ornaments like the giant food court signs, have been ripped out, to make the thing look simpler. In the end, it's going to be WHITE, with some of the earthy tones, and minus the Crystal (that will do away with the giant chandelier in the middle of the mall). Some other changes are relocating the guest services desk right around the elevator (which could mean being busted), and doing away with the stairs around the shaft.
Here's the anticipated renovation plans.

Now to the elevator:
The elevator, other than cosmetics, isn't any different. The motor seems to have gotten slightly louder since the last time. As you can see by some chipped paint, this thing was RED! I wonder what that was like...
With the renovation, that makes me wonder the fate of the elevator. However, knowing Simon, there might be no major upgrades done to it.
Also, the proper name is "Chewbacca's Aunt," since large machines are referred to in a feminine matter. What was I thinking when I made the last video by saying "uncle?"
