Budget travelling in goa using public transport is both economic and efficient. It is easily doable. Follow as more such content is going to come in this week-

1.Bus -
local bus service in Goa in most of places starts at about 7 AM, but after 7 PM it could be tricky to find a bus. Biggest bus stations in Goa are – Mapusa, Panjim, Vasco da Gama, Margao (known also as Madgaon) and Canacona.

Using local bus in Goa you can get almost everywhere. And that includes also most of the tourist attractions, beaches of Goa, as well as Goa International Airport.

Using public bus you can get to all the main tourist attractions as well as to most of this state’s beautiful beaches. It will be harder to get to the most secluded ones, though, but sometimes even on a motorcycle you can’t make it all the way to these beaches, as you might need to walk at the end anyway

Price of the ticket ranging from 10 INR (about 0,15 EUR/USD) for a shorter ride to 40 INR for a half across the state journey .

2.Auto-
Auto service in goa is mostly available near taxi stands outside famous beaches. You can find one easily outside calangute beach near the market area.

We paid 350 for an auto ride whereas the taxi was asking for 800. Auto are relatively cheaper and you can also book them for the whole day. You can take the auto guy’s number and call him wherever you are by giving little extra money which still be cheaper then regular taxi.

3.Goamiles app-

You won’t find uber and ola in goa but this app does wonder during the hours when you won’t find anything else. There are prices are little bit cheaper than the regular taxis but the service is good. I had a great experience using the app.

I booked the cab from panjim to railway station and it was just 450 rupees whereas the normal taxi people were asking for at-least 600.
