Pheasant Tail Jig - Fly Tying Tutorial

Описание к видео Pheasant Tail Jig - Fly Tying Tutorial

You might say this pattern draws a lot of inspiration from my friends in Eastern-Europe. You'll find a lot if extremely talented fly tiers and fly fishermen in countries like Poland, Czech Republic and Slovenia. In fact, those countries have a strong tradition winning the World Fly Fishing Championships.

For this pattern, I try to make the profile of the fly as slim as possible. Therefor I only use 4-5 fibers of Pheasant Tail, and use the same fibers for the body and for the tail. You can of course play around with the colors, changing the hot spot color for example. Play around with it, and match what works on your waters.
