This is the exercise problem solution of Chapter number 5, "Some Discrete Probability Distributions " from 9th edition of "Probability and Statistics for Engineers and Scientists by Walpole". In this video, I solved a question related to the binomial probability distribution and explained its concept by solving exercise problem 5.27. Also, binomial probability table and probability value calculation by using it is also explained here as well.

5.27 If the probability that a fluorescent light has a useful life of at least 800 hours is 0.9, find the probabilities that among 20 such lights
(a) exactly 18 will have a useful life of at least 800 hours;
(b) at least 15 will have a useful life of at least 800 hours;
(c) at least 2 will not have a useful life of at least 800 hours.
