The world of AI coding assistants is constantly evolving, and today I am sharing you a full comparison between Cursor AI, a popular AI code editor, and Augment Code, that claims to be the “first AI coding assistant built for professional software engineers and large codebases.”

I built most of my startup using Cursor, initially I quit VS Code specifically because I liked this chat/code completion built into my editor.

But as my codebase grew I faced more and more issues with Cursor.

So I started playing around with differen tools, and Augment caught my eye specifically because it was designed for what I was looking for - working on larger projects with lots of files.

So in this video, as someone who has now used both tools extensively, I will give my review of which I think is better specifically for big projects & which one I would choose if I were starting over today.
