Ben Deitch - Idle Iktah Interview

Описание к видео Ben Deitch - Idle Iktah Interview

Mobile Accessible Games had the opportunity to interview Ben Deitch about his resource management and real-time battle mechanic game called Idle Iktah. At the start of Idle Iktah, the player has virtually no resources or equipment. The player will gather resources, fish in the ocean, mine caves, and cut down trees to gain the building blocks for further crafting. The player will then smith ore, cook food, craft tools, and build furniture to make more advanced equipment. To enhance the development of these skills, the player can enchant items or create potions through alchemy. Once the player is fully equipped, they can fight a plethora of enemies across a variety of biomes. As you level-up and gain access to new areas, tools, and equipment, you will gain access to a community and homestead to train others in performing these tasks. In addition, accomplishing missions will give you points to specialize your development. When you feel ready, you can take all your gear, weapons, armor, and potions to fight enemies across the region.

Ben explains how Idle Iktah was developed and the importance of its setting in the Pacific Northwest. As an exclusive, he hints at easter eggs hidden throughout the game. Through his Discord server, Ben has collected and implemented dozens of blind accessibility improvements.

Idle Iktah is a rich resource management game that will take you months to reach the stated end game.
