A two minute tribute to the Aprilia RSV 250 | Race & Retro

Описание к видео A two minute tribute to the Aprilia RSV 250 | Race & Retro

Our latest 2-minute special bike edit and this time we're paying tribute to the Aprilia RSV 250, the predecessor to the AF1 250 gp bike.
The first GP win for this bike came at Assen, 1991 in the hands of non other than Pierfrancesco Chili. The bike then went on to win its first world championship in 1994 with Max Biaggi at the helm.

Further carnations of the bike would be the RSW (with a beautiful carbon fibre swingarm!) right up to the RSA - which raced in the final days of the 250 GP before the championship got kiboshed and replaced with Moto2.

The bike won 10 world championships - albeit 1 in the guise of Gilera with Marco Simoncelli!

These two beauties were at the CRMC classic motorcycle festival at Donington Park 2023 and are in the classic 1994 Chesterfield livery of Max Biaggi and Jean-Philippe Ruggia.
