High Speed Rail In Texas and Oklahoma? | South Central HSR Corridor At Hypothetical True High Speed

Описание к видео High Speed Rail In Texas and Oklahoma? | South Central HSR Corridor At Hypothetical True High Speed

San Antonio, Texas to Tulsa, Oklahoma at high speed, you ask? We're continuing to look at the Federal Railroad Administration's high speed rail corridors and what it would be like to build them at true high speed. In this video we will look at one portion of the South Central High Speed Rail Corridor, from San Antonio, through Austin, Fort Worth, and Oklahoma City, and ending in Tulsa. The route roughly follows interstate 35 on its journey through the Lone Star State into the heartland of Oklahoma. However, the interstate is not so inviting, and battles over land acquisition have cost Texas Central between Houston and Dallas dearly. So where will go? How much will it cost? Is it worth building? Find out inside. Also, stay tuned for the follow-up to this video, Fort Worth to Little Rock, Arkansas.
