Welcome to Apex, a powerful open source PHP based framework ala Laravel, CodeIgnighter, Slim, and the many others. Initially designed to be a modern day replacement to Wordpress hence its modular nature, these projects tend to take on a life of their own, so will have to see where this takes us.

On top of being a open source PHP framework, it's also backed by a powerful development network with repository management making aspects of development such as commits, releases, upgrades, branch management, staging environment, CI pipeline, deployment, and more very streamlined as they are integrated directly into the software itself. The mission is simple -- to provide developers with the tools, resources and infrastructure necessary to more efficiently onboard clients, and develop and maintain their systems, increasing their value add within the industry, in turn resulting in more money in their pocket.

Apex also consists of a built-in marketplace where developers may develop packages with any functionality they desire, mark them as commercial, set any price they desire, and publish them to the network at no cost. Funds from all purchases go directly to the developer with no middle man or waiting period, providing developers with a stream of passive income.
