Three army personnel have been injured in an attack by the ULFA-independent in eastern Assam’s Tinsukia district. The attack happened at an army Company Operating Base at Koomsang under Kakopathar police station. As per sources, the attack took place at around 12:30 am.
Sources have also stated that the militants used Under Barrel Grenade Launcher of UBGL apart from automatic rifles during the attack.
Meanwhile a massive search operation has been launched to nab the militants.
